dc.description.abstractThis research is about the Form of Kinship Politics of the Samosir Regency Community in the 2024 Regional Head Election: Case Study of the East Urat Village Community. The Samosir Regency Pilkada has 2 Candidate Pairs, namely: (1) Freddy Lamhot P Situmorang, S.H, M.H and Andreas Bolvi Simbolon, S.H and (2) Vandiko Timoteus Gultom, S.T and Ariston Tua Sidauruk, S.E, M.M. This research aims to: 1) to explain the forms of kinship politics in the 2024 Samosir Pilkada; 2) to describe the factors that influence kinship politics in the 2024 Samosir Pilkada. In this study, it was found that the form of kinship politics in the Toba Batak community is based on dalihan natolu and geographical location, besides that the factors that influence kinship politics in the Toba Batak community consist of internal clan conflict factors and money politics factors, performance factors and candidate vision and mission, and factors of economic interests and reciprocity. . To analyze this research, we use the Theory of Kinship Politics and the Theory of Kinship Politics in dalihan natolu. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method, which is research based on data obtained in the field and is accurate, as well as in the form of interviews in accordance with the specified informants, besides that it also gets research results through documentation, data searches through websites, journals, articles, mass media and also books.en_US
