dc.description.abstract | Indonesian ginger exports to Bangladesh have experienced fluctuations
influenced by various factors. This study aims to analyze the factors affecting the
volume of Indonesian ginger exports to Bangladesh during the period 2019–2023.
The factors analyzed include ginger production, ginger prices, the exchange rate
of the Rupiah against the US Dollar, and consumption in the destination country.
The data used in this research are secondary data obtained from the Central
Bureau of Statistics, Bank Indonesia, the World Bank, FAO, and other relevant
sources.
The analytical method employed is multiple linear regression to examine the
influence of these factors on the volume of ginger exports. The results of the study
show that ginger production, price, and consumption in the destination country
have a significant influence on the export volume of Indonesian ginger to
Bangladesh. Meanwhile, the exchange rate does not have a significant effect on
export volume. These findings indicate that increased production, stable prices,
and high consumption in the destination country can drive and enhance ginger
exports to Bangladesh. Therefore, the government and agribusiness stakeholders
need to adopt strategies to increase production and maintain price stability. | en_US |
