Analisis Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Volume Ekspor Kelapa Indonesia ke Negara Tujuan Ekspor Utama

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the largest coconut exporters in the world, but the volume of Indonesian coconut exports fluctuates in the main export destination countries. The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors influencing the volume of Indonesian coconut exports to the main export destinations and to evaluate the competitiveness of Indonesian coconut in these markets. The analytical methods used in this research are Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) and Panel Data Regression. The results of the Revealed Comparative Advantage analysis show that Indonesian coconut has a comparative advantage in the markets of its main export destinations. Meanwhile, the results of the panel data regression analysis indicate that the variables GDP and population have a positive but insignificant effect on coconut exports, the variable international coconut price has a positive and significant effect on coconut exports, while the variables exchange rate and inflation have a negative but insignificant effect on the volume of Indonesian coconut exports.
