Fur Shells (Anadara gubernaculum) and Blood Shells (Anadara granosa) found on Sentang Beach are species that are popular among the Sentang coastal community. Information on Anadara species around the waters of Sentang Beach is still minimal, so research on their growth patterns and exploitation rates is needed. This study aims to determine the abundance, growth patterns, mortality, and exploitation rates of Fur Shells and Blood Shells. Sampling was conducted at one-month intervals from October to December, randomly selected across three stations, each consisting of three plots. The results showed that the highest number of Fur Shells was found at Station II in October, totaling 202 individuals with a density value (Ki) of 26.9 ind/Ha, and the highest number of Blood Shells was found at Station II in October, totaling 186 individuals with a density value (Ki) of 24.8 ind/Ha. The growth pattern observed was negatively allometric for both Fur Shells and Blood Shells. The condition factor for both species falls into the “less flat” category. Growth analysis for Fur Shells yielded an overall (L∞) of 42.3 mm, with (K) 0.82 and t0 -0.75 years, while Blood Shells yielded an overall (L∞) of 32.5 mm, (K) 1.10, and t0 -0.85. The overall exploitation rate for Fur Shells is 0.04. The exploitation status of Fur Shells indicates underfishing, while the exploitation rate for Blood Shells is 0.02. The exploitation status of Blood Clams is still underfishing.en_US
