    Abstract
Lifestyle can shape an individual's behavior, the tendency for a consumptive lifestyle is influenced by internal factors such as lifestyle. The lifestyle of workers here can be seen in spending on snacks and other needs that are higher than the needs for transportation, housing and study. This study aims to describe the lives of unmarried factory workers at PT Provi Sinar Concrete, with a focus on those affected by a consumptive lifestyle. Unmarried factory workers often face social pressure to meet a certain standard of living desired by the surrounding environment, especially their peers. This study uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews with 2 unmarried factory workers and observations of their social activities outside of working hours. The results show that consumptive lifestyles are greatly influenced by the influence of peers and consumerism trends that develop around them. Despite their limited income, unmarried factory workers often spend most of their income on buying things that are not really needed, such as clothes, gadgets, or entertainment, which are often only to meet social expectations or follow trends. This habit leads to a lack of good financial management, with many of them not having savings or long-term financial planning. This study suggests the importance of more intensive financial education among factory workers, especially to teach them how to manage their finances wisely, avoid excessive consumption patterns, and prepare for a more stable financial future.
