Medan City faces challenges in managing public roadside parking which has an impact on low parking retribution revenues. To overcome this, the Medan City Government launched the E-Parking system to increase efficiency and transparency in managing parking fees. This research aims to analyze the role of the E-Parking system in increasing revenue from public roadside parking retribution, as well as exploring the obstacles faced in implementing this system, including the use of barcodes in subscription parking. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. The research results show that E-Parking plays an important role in increasing parking retributionrevenues, reducing dependence on manual systems, and encouraging parking user compliance. Obstacles faced include naughty parking attendants, limited means of payment, and lack of socialization. Parking retribution revenues show a positive trend, although there will be a decline in 2024. E-Parking systems and subscription parking contribute significantly to regional income.en_US
