The numerous environmental issues in Medan City, including the problem of plastic use and its negative impacts, have prompted the Indonesian Environmental Organization (WALHI) to establish the Green Student Movement (GSM) program. This program aims to contribute to public knowledge and provide opportunities for young people with high environmental awareness to collaborate with WALHI in addressing environmental issues. This research aims to describe and analyze the evaluation of the Green Student Movement (GSM) program's implementation in reducing plastic use in Medan City. This study employed a qualitative descriptive research method, collecting data through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with WALHI administrators and GSM program administrators. Additionally, this study utilized direct observation of the GSM program's implementation and relevant documentation. This approach was used to gain a comprehensive understanding of the challenges, opportunities, and steps involved in evaluating the GSM program's implementation. This study used Daniel L. Stufflebeam's theory, which employs four indicators: context, input, process, and product. The research findings on the implementation of the Green Student Movement (GSM) program in Medan City show that environmental education-based programs, such as campaigns in schools and universities, have a significant impact on increasing young people's awareness of environmental issues. This is consistent with the findings, where students involved in the GSM program demonstrated behavioral changes, such as reducing plastic bag use and increasing the use of environmentally friendly alternatives.en_US
