This study aims to determine the Large and Medium Industrial Workforce,
Regency/City Minimum Wage, and Capital Expenditure both partially and
simultaneously on the Economic Growth of North Sumatra Province. The type of
research used is descriptive quantitative, namely quantitative research with a
descriptive approach.
The population used in this study is Large and Medium Industrial Labor,
Regency/City Minimum Wage, and Capital Expenditure. The sample of this study
was selected by purposive sampling of 28 regencies/cities in North Sumatera
Province in the form of annual reports in the period 2016-2020. Data collection
was carried out using secondary data from the annual reports of 28 districts/cities
in the 2016-2020 period.
The results show that the variables of Large and Medium Industrial Labor
partially have a positive and significant effect on Economic Growth in North
Sumatera Province, the Regency/City Minimum Wage variable partially has a
positive and significant effect on Economic Growth in North Sumatera Province,
and the Capital Expenditure variable partially has a positive and significant effect
on Economic Growth in North Sumatera Province. Simultaneously, the
independent variables of Large and Medium Industrial Labor, Regency/City
Minimum Wage, and Capital Expenditure have a significant effect on Economic
Growth in North Sumatera Province.
