    Abstract
Financial statements are an important tool for assessing a company's performance and future prospects. In the transportation sector, particularly PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero), optimizing financial statements is crucial in supporting strategic decision-making. This study aims to optimize the financial statements of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) through the application of the Fuzzy Goal Programming (FGP) model, considering nine key financial parameters, including six maximization objectives (total assets, total equity, total revenue, operating profit, net profit, and cash flow from operating activities) and three minimization objectives (total liabilities, total expenses, and financial expenses). The FGP approach was chosen for its ability to handle multi-objective optimization and uncertainty in corporate financial systems. To enhance the reliability of optimization results, a sensitivity analysis was conducted to assess the extent to which changes in the right-hand side (RHS) values of each objective remain acceptable without affecting the optimal solution. The results showed that all objectives were successfully achieved, indicating that PT KAI's financial statements were optimized. The FGP model allowed a significant increase in total assets of IDR 13.94 trillion, total equity of IDR 24.35 trillion, total revenue of IDR 72.44 trillion, operating profit of IDR 13.64 trillion, net profit of IDR 11.08 trillion, and operating cash flow of IDR 12.19 trillion. This model also shows the potential for a reduction in total liabilities of IDR 10.17 trillion, total expenses of IDR 54.52 trillion, and financial expenses of IDR 1.89 trillion over the past 5 years. Further sensitivity analysis indicates that the FGP model provides high flexibility with the most significant sensitivity range in total assets, total revenue, total expenses, operating profit, net profit, and operating cash flow, making it more adaptive in handling uncertainty in financial parameter variations. Thus, this study demonstrates that the fuzzy goal programming model is effective in optimizing the financial statements of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero).
