This study aims to analyze the strategies for structuring and fostering Micro,
Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Firdaus Village, Sei Rampah
District, Serdang Bedagai Regency, in support of regional economic development.
The urgency of this research lies in the limited contribution of MSMEs to the local
economy, despite their significant potential to absorb labor and reduce poverty.
The study population includes all MSME actors in Firdaus Village, with samples
selected using a convenience sampling technique. A qualitative research
approach was employed, utilizing Miles and Huberman's data analysis model
through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings
reveal that the MSME structuring and development programs implemented by the
local government are not yet optimal, as evidenced by limited access to capital,
technology, and training, as well as weak synergy between MSME actors and the
government. Relevant strategies to enhance MSME performance include business
location structuring, technology-based capacity building, and the strengthening of
regulations and cross-sector partnerships.
