Left-handed students often face ergonomic challenges in learning due to furnituredesigned for right-handed users. This mismatch can lead to non-ergonomic bodypostures and increase the risk of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). This studyaims to design an ergonomic desk for left-handed students using the ErgonomicFunction Deployment (EFD) method. Complaint identification was conductedusing the Standard Nordic Questionnaire (SNQ), while work posture analysis usedthe Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA). The anthropometric data of studentswere used to determine the optimal desk dimensions. The research results showthat the working posture of left-handed students using a standard desk has amoderate to high risk of MSDs, thus the design of an ergonomic desk is necessary. The designed desk has a height of 101 cm with dimensions adjusted based on thestudents' anthropometry. The design was carried out using SolidWorks 2016 toproduce an ergonomic 3D model. The implementation of this design is expected toimprove the comfort and productivity of left-handed students in learning.
