Analisis Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Nilai Ekspor Kopi Arabika Indonesia di Pasar Amerika Serikat

Abstract

Arabica coffee is one of Indonesia's leading export commodities, possessing a higher market value compared to other types of coffee. Global demand for Arabica coffee particularly from countries such as the United States continues to grow in line with consumer preferences for better taste and quality. However, the export value of Indonesian Arabica coffee to the United States has shown fluctuations, reflecting instability in Indonesia’s Arabica coffee trade. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the export value of Indonesian Arabica coffee to the United States market during the period 2005–2023. The method used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis with secondary data obtained from various sources. The results show that the price of Arabica coffee and the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of the United States have a significant effect on the export value of Indonesian Arabica coffee. In contrast, variables such as tea prices, exchange rates, and inflation do not show a significant influence. This research is expected to provide useful insights for policymakers and business actors in efforts to enhance the export value of Indonesian Arabica coffee
