Evaluasi Penerapan Manajemen Waktu pada Proyek Pembangunan IPA Brayan Kapasitas 500 Liter/Detik
Evaluation of Time Management Implementation in the Construction Project of the Brayan water Treatment Plant with a Capacity of 500 Liters/Second
Abstract
The development of water management infrastructure plays a crucial role in ensuring the availability of clean water and supporting community well-being. One such effort is the construction of the Brayan Water Treatment Plant (IPA) in Medan City, designed to process 500 liters of water per second from the Deli River. However, the implementation encountered delays in several key production units, including the flocculation/coagulation tank, sedimentation tank, and filtration tank. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of time management in the project based on the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) Fifth Edition. The research method involved the distribution of questionnaires using a Likert scale and interviews with project personnel. The analysis results indicate that the level of time management implementation reached 80.62%, categorized as “adequate.” Several dominant factors influencing the effectiveness of time management include schedule alignment with project needs, team understanding of assigned tasks, flexibility in activity sequencing, and accuracy in resource estimation. These findings are expected to serve as a foundation for more strategic and structured time management practices in future infrastructure projects.
