dc.description.abstract | Gulamah fish (Johnius trachycephalus) is one of fish type that lives on Labu Beach which is often consumed by people around the beach. This study aims to determine the relationship between the length and the weight, the level of gonad maturity and the physical and chemical factors of the waters on Labu Beach, Deli Serdang Regency. The study was conducted in December 2024 toFebruary 2025 using a purposive sampling method to determine the location of the study. Data analysis includes the density, the length-weight relationship, the gonad maturity level, the gonad maturity index also the physical and chemical factors of the waters. There are 97 gulamah fish are caught using a 15 x 5 m net, with a mesh size of 1.5 inches. Based on the results of the study at the three stations, the fish growth pattern was negative allometric (b <3) of 0.384-0.9693. The density at the three stations ranged from 0.14-0.25 ind / m². The level of gonad maturity of female gulamah fish is more often found in TKG III ranging from 1,52 to 6,02% and TKG IV ranging from 1,77 to 7,84%. The results of the correlation test showed a very strong influence on temperature, pH and Dissolved Oxygen (DO) on the density of gulamah fish. | en_US |
