The process of cakar ayam mold using cups and bowls at the Nana Cakar ayam UKM in Pasar Bengkel Village takes more time and involves repetitive movements of the worker's fingers or hands. Repetition of finger or hand movements involves awkward postures that cause fatigue in workers. The fatigue that occurs in workers is identified as being at risk of causing musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) through an assessment using the Assessment of Repetitive Task (ART) method. The results of the assessment using the ART method on the right arm were 29 which means a high risk level while the left arm was 23 which means a low risk level. The results of the assessment on both hands led to the need for corrective action. The improvements made were the design of a cakar ayam mold tool using the Ergonomic Function Deployment (EFD) method. The subjects of the study were workers who were assigned to the cakar ayam mold section at the Nana Cakar ayam UKM in Pasar Bengkel Village. The results of the design using the EFD method produced a proposal for a cakar ayam mold tool that was in accordance with user needs. The cakar ayam mold tool reduces the frequency of repetitive movements of the worker's fingers or hands compared to using cups and bowls. This is because the cakar ayam mold uses a press system and the mold is designed with many holes to produce cakar ayam that are printed at once so that workers can speed up the printing process.
