This study aims to reveal the forms of gender injustice experienced by female
characters in the novel Anjanu by Fincalogy using a feminist literary criticism approach. Gender injustice is a condition that places women in an unequal position to men, both in social, cultural, economic, and political aspects. Through an analysis of the intrinsic elements of literary works, this study focuses on five forms of gender
injustice, namely 1) marginalization which means the marginalization of one gender, 2) subordination which means the position of one gender is considered lower than the other gender, 3) stereotypes which means labeling one gender based on the views of society, 4) violence which means attacks on one gender either physically or externally, 5) double burden which means one gender must play two roles basically. The results of the study show that there are various forms of injustice experienced by the female characters in the novel Anjanu. There are 78 data obtained through this study, 64 data on intrinsic elements and 14 data on gender injustice. Data were collected through in-depth reading of the novel text, recording relevant quotations, and grouping data based on forms of gender injustice.
