Analisis Pengaruh Layanan E-Channel Bank Terhadap Efisiensi Bank

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence and impact of e-channel services on bank efficiency. In this study, the dependent variable used is bank efficiency which is measured using the stachostic frontier analysis method. The independent variable used in this study is the volume of bank e-channel service transactions that describe the development of bank e-channel services. This research is supported by 5 control variables, namely bank size, equity to assets, gross domestic product (GDP), consumer price index (CPI) and covid-19 dummy. This study uses descriptive quantitative research with a static panel data regression model using the Generalized least square Random Effect Model (REM) estimation method. There are 68 bank institutions that are the population in this study. The sample selection in this study was carried out using purposive sampling method, so that 26 bank institutions were selected that met the criteria according to what the researchers set. This study uses secondary data in the form of annual financial publication reports of each bank. Based on data testing and estimation, the research results obtained show that the independent variable of bank e-channel service transaction volume has a positive and significant effect on the dependent variable of bank efficiency.
