Pengaruh Jumlah Angkatan Kerja dan Tingkat Upah Minimum Kabupaten (UMK) serta Industri Rumahan terhadap Tingkat Pengangguran di Wilayah Pantai Timur Sumatera Utara

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the influence of the number of labor force and the level of district minimum wage (UMK) and home industry on the unemployment rate in the East Coast region of North Sumatra. This research uses descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The data source of this research is secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) with the object of research 12 districts / cities in the period 2015- 2022. This research uses the panel data analysis method and hypothesis testing using the coefficient of determination (R2) test, partial significance test (t test) and simultaneous significance test (F test). The results of this study show that simultaneously the number of labor force, district minimum wage (UMK) and home industry have a significant effect on the number of unemployment. Partially, it is known that the variable number of labor force has a positive and significant effect on the number of unemployment, district minimum wage (UMK) has a negative and significant effect on the number of unemployment, and home industry has a negative and significant effect on the
