    Abstract
The demand for pagoda mustard (Brassica rapa L.) has been increased in line with awareness growing of healthy vegetable consumption. This study investigates the effects of a combination of liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) derived from fermented catfish (Clarias sp.) waste and AB Mix solution on the growth of the pagoda mustard in a wick hydroponic system. The LOF serves as a source of organic nutrients and beneficial microbes, while the AB Mix provides readily available macro- and micronutrients. The experiment was arranged in a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD), consisting of four levels of LOF (0, 75, 150, 225 ml/L) and three levels of AB Mix (5, 7.5, 10 ml/L), with four replication each. Observed parameters included the plant height, the number of leaves, the fresh and the dry weight of the shoots and roots, the root-to-shoot ratio, and the chlorophyll content. The LOF was prepared by fermenting 5 kg of catfish waste (Clarias sp.) with EM4, rice-washing water, distilled water, and palm sugar for 14 days. The fermented product was filtered and analyzed for nutrient content such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and organic carbon. The results demonstrate that the combination of catfish waste-based LOF and AB Mix significantly enhances the growth of pagoda mustard (p > 0.05). The best treatment observed is P0M1 (0 ml/L LOF + 5 ml/L AB Mix), which yielded the highest plant height, the number of leaves, the fresh plant weight, the root dry weight, and the shoot dry weight. This study concludes the combination of catfish waste-derived LOF and AB Mix has the potential to serve as an effective, environmentally friendly organic fertilizer for wick hydroponic systems.
