Study on Supply Chain Performance Improvement At UD. XYZ Using the Supply Chain Operation Reference (SCOR) and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP)
Abstract
The furniture industry in Indonesia faces various challenges in supply chain
management, including delays in raw material supply, inconsistent material
quality, and inaccuracies in final product delivery. This study aims to evaluate the
supply chain performance of UD. David Furniture, a wooden chair manufacturer,
using the Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) model and the Analytical
Hierarchy Process (AHP). The SCOR model is used to identify and analyze 19 Key
Performance Indicators (KPIs) based on five main processes: Plan, Source, Make,
Deliver, and Return. Each KPI is normalized using the Snorm De Boer method,
followed by weighting through AHP to determine the weight at each hierarchical
level (process, criteria, and KPI). The final results show that the overall supply
chain performance score is 69.11%, which falls into the "average" category. After
implementing improvement suggestions, a reevaluation indicated an increase in
performance to 83.54%. These results demonstrate that the SCOR and AHP
approaches are effective in identifying and prioritizing supply chain improvements
to enhance operational efficiency.
