    Abstract
    Research on the Growth of Arugula (Eruca sativa) in Wick Hydroponic Media by the combination treatment of Fern Extract and AB Mix was conducted from December 2024 to April 2025 at the Plant Physiology and Tissue Culture Laboratory, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of North Sumatra. This study aims to obtain the best concentration of fern extract and AB mix for the growth of arugula plants using wick hydroponics. This research used a Factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) of the combination of fern biostimulants (0 ml, 50 ml, 100 ml, 150 ml) and AB Mix (0 ml, 5 ml, 10 ml). The application began at 7 days after planting (HST) for once a week for six weeks, with observations made once a week. The results show the combination of fern biostimulants and AB Mix has a significant effect on the observed parameters, namely the plant height, the leaf count, the fresh weight, the dry weight of the canopy, the dry weight of the roots, and the canopy/root ratio as well as the chlorophyll content of arugula plants. Fern biostimulant treatment of 150 ml + AB Mix 10 ml is the best treatment for arugula growth.
