This study aims to analyze the influence of skill upgrade, social support, and job
characteristics on employee performance, with job satisfaction as a moderating
variable at Hamparan Perak Community Health Center. The analysis used in this
research follows a quantitative approach. The study population consists of 100 civil
servants. Data collection techniques include questionnaires, interviews, and literature
studies, while the analysis method employs Smart PLS software. The results indicate
that skill upgrade, social support, and job characteristics have a positive and
significant effect on both job satisfaction and employee performance. Additionally, job
satisfaction mediates the relationship between skill upgrade, social support, and job
characteristics. This study provides recommendations to improve employee
performance by enhancing skill upgrade, social support, job characteristics, and job
satisfaction.
