Analisis Pengaruh Pertumbuhan Ekonomi, Inflasi, Dan Corruption Perception Index (Cpi) Terhadap Ketimpangan Pendapatan Di Negara Asean Pada Tahun 2012 – 2022

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of economic growth, inflation and corruption perception index (CPI) on income inequality. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative. The data used is secondary data obtained from the World Bank and Transparency International. The analytical tool used in this research is panel data regression using the Random Effect Model (REM) with the help of the Eviews 12 program. to determine the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable. The sample used in this study consisted of 11 ASEAN countries for 11 years from 2012-2022. The results of the study using the Random Effect Model (REM) estimation show that economic growth, inflation and corruption perception index (CPI) simultaneously have an insignificant effect on income inequality in ASEAN. Partially, it is known that the economic growth variable has a negative and insignificant effect on income inequality, the inflation variable has a negative and insignificant effect on income inequality and the corruption perception index (CPI) variable has a negative and insignificant effect on income inequality in ASEAN.
