Workload is one of the factors that affect employee performance. The mismatch of workload received by workers will be a problem, for example there are workers
who have excessive workload (overload), while there are workers who have less workload (underload). This kind of problem also occurs at PT JNE, especially in the day shift outbound section, so it is necessary to conduct research to find out what the actual workload conditions are which can then be used to plan the number of workers, as well as to analyze the mental load on workers. The method used is the Full Time Equivalent (FTE) method to determine the physical workload based on the working time of the activity elements and the NASA-TLX method to analyze the mental workload which is processed again using the fuzzy logic method. From
the results of the research by combining the two methods, it was found that the workforce in the manifest section needed an additional 4 workers, namely from 5 people to 9 workers, at the handover station a reduction in labor could be made,
namely 2 people. Especially outbound for the day shift can move 2 underload people to the manifest station, so it only needs to recruit 2 more workers. The total actual workers are 21 workers and the total proposed workers are 23 workers.
