dc.description.abstract | Generation Z is known has a tendency to do job hopping. One of the factors that influence job hopping is person-organization fit, which is the compatibility between individuals and their organization. When there is a fit between the individual and the organization, it tends to lead to job satisfaction in employees. On the other hand, job satisfaction also affects job hopping. This study’s purpose is to determine whether there is an effect of person-organization fit on job hopping intention through mediation of job satisfaction. The research method is correlational quantitative, with convenience sampling method. The sample were 158 generation Z employees in Medan. The analysis technique is mediation analysis. This study has significance result < 0.001, showed that the hypothesis was accepted, meaning that the higher person-organization fit, the higher job satisfaction, that can reduce job hopping intention. In this study, P-O Fit affects job hopping intention by 50.3% and the other 49.7% is caused by other factors outside the research. | en_US |
