Identifikasi dan Analisis Peran Para Pihak dalam Kegiatan Pengelolaan Perhutanan Sosial di Kabupaten Langkat

Abstract

In the management of mangroves carried out by the group, the importance of the role of each stakeholder cannot be overlooked. Each stakeholder has different influences and interests according to their roles and functions. This research aims to identify participants in social forestry management and examine their roles. The data collection methods used are documentation, questionnaire based interviews, and observation. Stakeholder analysis is conducted in three steps: identifying actors and their interests; classifying and identifying the roles of actors in forest governance as key players, subjects, supporters, and followers; and mapping or creating a matrix of the interrelations between the interests of the parties and the forest governance organizers. The research results show the identification of stakeholders and the analysis of their roles from 3 social forestry schemes, revealing 26 stakeholders and several actors who play significant roles in mangrove management in groups such as KPH 1 Stabat, BPSKL, DLHK, Village Heads, BPDAS, BRGM, PUI USU, YAKOPI, and YAGASU. These stakeholders play roles as implementers, facilitators, administrators, business developers, environmental partners, and in monitoring and evaluation, particularly in policy and decision-making.
