Analisis Stabilitas Lereng dengan Dinding Penahan Tanah Menggunakan Software PLAXIS 2D Connect Edition V22 pada Rute jalan Sibolangit
Analysis of Slope Stability with Retaining Wall Using PLAXIS 2D Connect Edition V22 Software on The Sibolangit Road Route
Abstract
The study reviewed the slope located in Sibolangit located in Karo regency, North Sumatra with the scope of safety factor, retrofitting was carried out using the application of cantilever type retaining walls. In this study, the approach taken is numerical analysis using PLAXIS 2D CONNECT Edition V22 software, which allows modeling of geotechnical conditions in detail. The background of this study is based on the high risk of landslides in the region caused by the state of the topography of the slope is a steep slope and climate factors with high levels of rainfall. This study includes the collection of soil characteristics data through testing Standard Penetration Test (SPT) and analysis in the laboratory to determine the parameters of Soil Mechanics. From the analysis, it can be seen that the safety factor in the current condition of the slope is 1.249, which indicates that the slope is in an unstable state. After retrofitting with retaining walls, the safety factor value increased to 1.647, thus meeting the safety criteria of a stable slope (>1.5) in accordance with SNI 8460:2017. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the application of cantilever retaining walls is very effective in improving the stability of the slope in the path of Sibolangit road, with the aim of reducing the possibility of landslides and improving the safety of road users. It is expected that this study can serve as a guide in planning and reducing the risk of landslides in other areas that are also vulnerable.
