dc.description.abstractThis study aims to analyze the slope stability on the Berastagi crossroad route Km 63 using a retaining wall and the PLAXIS 2D V22 software. The highway is a vital infrastructure that supports mobility and social interaction, but it is often threatened by landslides, especially in mountainous areas. This research analyzes the geotechnical conditions, safety factors, and effective design of RW to enhance slope stability. The analysis results indicate that the safety factor of the existing slope is below the safe threshold, with a safety factor value of 1.331 using the PLAXIS 2D V22 software. With the application of RW, the slope safety factor increases to 1.611, indicating that the proposed design can provide an effective solution to prevent landslides and enhance road user safety.en_US
