| dc.description.abstract | The development of digital payment technology in Indonesia is rapidly advancing with the introduction of QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) as a practical and integrated payment method. Although the use of QRIS continues to grow, the factors influencing students' interest, particularly those in the Vocational Faculty's D3 Finance and D3 Accounting programs at the University of North Sumatra, in using QRIS for transactions still require further research. This study aims to determine the influence of convenience, benefits, and security on the interest of students in the Vocational Faculty of the D3 Finance and D3 Accounting programs at the University of North Sumatra in using QRIS for transactions. This study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to 168 student respondents. Data analysis techniques include validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression, F-test, and T-test. The results of the study indicate that benefits (X2) and security (X3) significantly influence interest in using QRIS, with significance values of 0.000 < 0.05. Meanwhile, convenience (X1) did not have a significant effect with a significance value of 0.054 > 0.05. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 56% indicates that the variables of convenience, benefits, and security can explain 56% of the variation in interest in using QRIS, while the remaining 44% is influenced by other factors. Benefits and security are the dominant factors influencing students' interest in using QRIS, while ease does not have a significant effect. Implications: QRIS service providers need to continue improving the benefits and security of transactions to encourage broader adoption among students. | en_US |
