Scholarship provision is one of the efforts made by various institutions or foundations
to help students who excel academically but face economic constraints or limitations.
However, the selection process is often conducted manually, making it less effective,
less objective, and time-consuming while increasing the possibility of errors. Therefore,
this research aims to combine the Entropy method for weight determination and the
VIsekriterijumsko KOmpromisno Rangiranje (VIKOR) method for ranking. The results
of this research show that the system is capable and successful in properly displaying
rankings of those who are eligible and ineligible to receive scholarship assistance.
Testing using manual scholarship calculation data previously conducted by the
foundation showed that the first-ranked candidate remained the same in both manual
calculations and the Entropy-VIKOR method, while the second and third ranks differed,
which also occurred for several lower rankings. The system usability test using
questionnaires also yielded positive results: the foundation's intention to use the system
again received a percentage value of 78%, system complexity received 46%, and system
ease of use received 80%. Calculations using the Entropy method worked well in
determining the weight of each predetermined criterion. Rangking using the
VIsekriterijumsko KOmpromisno Rangiranje (VIKOR) method also performed very
well in determining the final results, namely student rankings based on the results of Si,
Ri, and Q values, The alternative becomes better as the value gets smaller.
