Analisis Kelayakan Usahatani Bunga Krisan (Chrysanthemum Sp.) (Kasus : Desa Raya, Kecamatan Berastagi, Kabupaten Karo)
Feasibility Analysis of Chrysanthemum Farming (Case Study : Desa Raya, Berastagi District, Karo Regency)
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the feasibility of chrysanthemum (chrysanthemum sp.)
farming in Desa Raya by analyzing the Break even point of production amount,
Break even point production price of chrysanthemum farming, and to analyze the
amount of Revenue Cost Ratio of chrysanthemum farming in the study area. The
research location chosen purposively with consideration of the chrysanthemum
harvest area of more than 1,000m2 - 6,000m2. The method of determining the sample
in this study by using simple random sampling using a research sample of 38
chrysanthemum flower farmers. Survey data from primary data related to
chrysanthemum flower farming are collected through direct interviews with the
sample. Data analysis used analysis of Production BEP, Price BEP, and R/C Ratio.
The results of this study indicate that the Production BEP of 2,625 stalks is smaller
than the production of chrysanthemums at the research site which amounted to
8,737 stalks. The BEP price of Rp. 600/stalk is smaller than the price of
chrysanthemums at the farm level of Rp. 2,000/stalk and the R/C value is 3.32 which
is greater than 1. The results of this study prove that chrysanthemum flower farming
is feasible.
