Designing Wijaya Kusuma Senior High School in Jalan Gagak Hitam in Green Architecture Approach

Abstract

Indonesia as a country to reach golden age in 2045, more focusing on juveniles in nowadays. One of the way is towards in education, unfortunately Indonesia's education is still problematic, starting from the downgrade of morality, high rate of dropping out, and lack of facilities, causing the students loss of spirit in learning and teaching activity. One of them to prevent by building school. The objective of making this report is designing the building so that students can study with facilities and different room dimensions that can fit the group with green architecture approach The education building is formal senior high school project design regulated by government as compulsory with a determined time. The methods are created by doing documentation the site area with it’s condition as primary data and the secondary datas got by doing study comparison from similar theme and function, building users with variety dimensions, technologies, concept, and the theme of the building. From the data collections, that could become references that for producing an aesthetic senior high school design with green architecture appearance that eco friendly by following the principal of GBCI (Green Building Council Indonesia)
