Analisis Pengaruh Literasi Keuangan, Pendapatan Orang Tua, dan Lingkungan Sosial terhadap Perilaku Keuangan Mahasiswa pada Komunitas Generasi Baru Indonesia Universitas Sumatera Utara

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of financial literacy, parental income, and social environment on student financial behavior in the Generasi Baru Indonesia University of North Sumatra (GenBI USU) community. This research is associative research and the type of data used is quantitative data. The population in this study were 75 students who were recipients of Bank Indonesia scholarships at the University of North Sumatra using saturated samples in the study. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that financial literacy partially has a positive effect on student financial behavior in the Generasi Baru Indonesia University of North Sumatra (GenBI USU) community, parental income has a positive and insignificant effect on student financial behavior in the Generasi Baru Indonesia University of North Sumatra (GenBI USU) community, and the social environment has a positive and insignificant effect on student financial behavior in the Generasi Baru Indonesia University of North Sumatra (GenBI USU) community.
