Evaluasi Kepuasan Petani Cabai Merah Keriting Terhadap Kinerja Penyuluh Pertanian (Kasus : Desa Sukajulu, Kecamatan Barusjahe, Kabupaten Karo)

Abstract

Agricultural Extension is someone who is responsible for encouraging farmers to change the mindset, perspective and old ways of working of curly red chili farmers through new ways. Farmer satisfaction provides on overview of the extent to which extension workers succeed in disseminating knowledge, improving skills and making it easier for farmers to solve various agricultural practice problems. The study aims to analyze the performance of extension officers and the level of satisfaction of curly red chili farmers with the performance of extension officers in Sukajulu Village, Barusjahe District, Karo Regency. The analytical method used is importance Performance Analysis (IPA) to determine the results of the level of importance and performance level of the performnce attributes of extension officer and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) to determine the overall satisfaction level of curly red chili farmers. Tha data used is primary data conducted trough interviews. The research results on the Cartesian diagram show that two attributes are in quadrant I (top priority), five attributes in quadrant II (maintain achievement), five attributes in quadrant III (low priority), one attribute in quadrant IV (excessive). Overall, the satisfaction of curly red chili farmers in Sukajulu Village is 73,93% which falls into the category of being satisfied with the performance of agricultural extension workers.
