dc.description.abstractThe increasingly tight industrial competition encourages business actors to continue to innovate in order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of production. CV. Pinterwood is an MSME engaged in furniture manufacturing with a Make to Order production system. The problems faced are delays in meeting production targets due to the absence of connecting media between work stations, as well as the use of folding trolleys that are not effective in storing production output. This study aims to redesign the goods transport trolley by applying the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method which is used to identify customer needs and technical characteristics and critical parts of the trolley and the Theory of Inventive Problem Solving (TRIZ) which is used to solve the problem of contradictions between critical parts. The results of this study are a prototype design of a goods transport trolley that is more effective and efficient according to the needs of users in the CV. Pinterwood production environment. With the addition of a trolley wall that can be separated from the trolley body, it makes it easier to maintain the life of the transport trolley product. This design aims to increase production achievement by 80 % to 90 %.en_US
