Pengaruh School Climate dan Creativity terhadap Entrepreneurial Mindset pada Siswa SMA Ignatius di Medan Johor

Abstract

Senior High School (SMA) is designed to prepare students to continue to higher education. However, in reality, not all high school graduates continue their education to higher education. Therefore, it is important to educate high school students about entrepreneurial knowledge and skills, which will shape their entrepreneurial mindset. One of the dimensions in developing an entrepreneurial mindset is creativity. In addition, entrepreneurial mindset will also develop in the school environment. This study aims to see and analyze the influence of creativity and school climate on entrepreneurial mindset in Ignatius Medan Johor High School students. The subjects in this study were 141 students of Ignatius Medan Johor High School. This study uses entrepreneurial mindset scale, school climate scale and circle test for research measurement tools. The data obtained were then processed using multiple regression analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, the results show that there is a positive and significant influence between school climate on entrepreneurial mindset. However, when the creativity variable is included, the role of both becomes insignificant. This study illustrates that improving entrepreneurial mindset in students can be done by improving school climate and also illustrates that creativity is not the main factor in developing entrepreneurial mindset in students.
