Pengaruh Tenaga Kerja, Luas Areal, dan Produksi Kelapa Sawit terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di Provinsi Sumatera Utara tahun 1993-2022

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the partial and simultaneous effects of labor, land area, and palm oil production on economic growth in North Sumatra Province from 1993 to 2022. This is a quantitative study using multiple linear regression analysis in the form of a time series with a research period from 1993 to 2022. The data sources for this study are from the Central Statistics Agency and the Directorate General of Plantations. The data was then analyzed by fulfilling classical assumption tests and hypothesis tests. The results of the study indicate that the oil palm labor variable has a positive and significant effect on economic growth, the oil palm area variable has a positive and significant effect on economic growth, the oil palm production variable has a positive and significant effect on economic growth, and simultaneously, the independent variables have an effect of 87.94% on the dependent variable.
