Implementasi Sistem Arsip Digital dalam Mengelola Brimen (BRI Document Management System) di PT. Bank Raykat Indonesia (Persero) TBK KCP Setia Budi Medan

Abstract

Advances in information technology are driving the need for digital filing systems, especially in the banking sector that manages large volumes of documents. PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk KCP Setia Budi Medan previously still used a manual archive system in the management of BRIMEN documents, which resulted in a slow search process and a high risk of document damage. This study aims to evaluate the application of the BRIMEN digital archive system and its impact on work efficiency, document security, and administrative services. The methods used include observation and interviews with credit administration officers. The results show that digital systems accelerate document search from 30–45 minutes to 5–10 minutes, as well as improve data security through periodic backup features. Despite technical constraints and human resource adjustments at the beginning of implementation, this system has proven to be effective in supporting the modernization of archive management within BRI
