dc.description.abstract | Mini Elephant Grass is one of superior green fodder sources for ruminant that must be cultivated. Improving quality of the forage must be done to obtain more efficient value in terms of quality and quantity. This study aims to see the effect of giving bokashi fertilizer made from rabbit manure added with rice husk charcoal on the quality value of Mini Elephant Grass. The analysis method used Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments P0 (without bokashi), P1(bokashi dose 50 g + 5 kg of ultisol soil/polybag (12,5 ton/ha)), P2(bokashi dose 100 g + 5 kg of ultisol soil/polybag (25 ton/ha)), P3(bokashi dose 150 g + 5 kg of ultisol soil/polybag (37,5 ton/ha)) and P4(bokashi dose 200 g + 5 kg of ultisol soil/polybag (50 ton/ha)). The results showed dose of bokashi rabbit manure added rice husk charcoal has significant effect (P<0,05) on the levels of crude fiber, crude fat, crude protein, ash and water. The parameters of protein and fat levels increase with the increasing amount of bokashi given. While the levels of crude fiber, ash and water decrease with the increasing dose of bokashi given. The conclusion P4 is the best dose according to the increasing in the nutritional quality of Mini Elephant Grass. | en_US |
