dc.description.abstract | This study aims to determine the effect of Leader-Member Exchange (LMX) on work engagement among employees at PT. Bank SUMUT Head Office. The research method used in this study is a quantitative research approach. The subjects of this study are 83 employees from PT. Bank SUMUT Head Office. Data collection was conducted using Likert scales, consisting of the work engagement scale and the LMX scale. The analytical method employed in this study is simple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that LMX has a positive effect on work engagement among employees at PT. Bank SUMUT Head Office (sig = 0.001 < 0.05, F = 54.330 > 3.96, t = 7.371 > 1.663884). LMX accounts for 40.1% of the variance in work engagement among employees at PT. Bank SUMUT Head Office. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the higher the LMX, the higher the work engagement among employees at PT.
