    Abstract
The Medan Plus Foundation is a non-profit organization focused on rehabilitation and counseling for victims of drug abuse in the city of Medan. Established in 2003, the foundation is committed to providing holistic services that support the recovery of individuals affected by addiction, with an approach that encompasses physical, mental, and social aspects. Therefore, a study was conducted to examine the role of social workers in assisting victims of drug abuse at the Medan Plus Foundation. This study aims to identify the contributions of social workers in assisting victims of drug abuse at the Medan Plus Foundation. The study employs a qualitative method, with data collection through interviews, observations, literature reviews, and documentation. Informants were selected using purposive sampling. The results of the study show that the role of social workers in assisting victims of drug abuse at the Medan Plus Foundation includes: (a) Enabler, helping victims discover their potential and resources for recovery through counseling and emotional support; (b) Broker, connecting victims with the services they need, such as mental health services and support groups; (c) Teacher, providing information about the effects of drug abuse and the importance of recovery through educational sessions; (d) Initiator, encouraging victims to be active in their recovery by setting goals and planning concrete steps; (e) Empowerer: empowers victims to overcome addiction and build a better life by boosting their self-confidence; (f) Advocate: fights for victims' rights and reduces the social stigma they face; and (g) Activist: engages in outreach to raise awareness about drug abuse and supports better public policy.
