dc.description.abstract | The Health Department Building of Provinsi Sumatera Utara has been
established for a long period of time, resulting in environmental degradation
and building damage due to age and environmental conditions. Health
Department Building of Provinsi Sumatera Utara also faces the challenge of
inefficient spatial planning, which disrupts air circulation, lighting, and user
comfort. This condition also increases safety risks due to limited evacuation
routes and unintegrated security systems. Therefore, it is necessary to re-plan
the building by applying green building principles. The design results can show
that the application of green architecture in the Health Department Building of
Provinsi Sumatera Utara can create efficient space, support innovation,
improve the quality of comfort and health, maximize the use of existing areas
and support Indonesia Emas 2045. This redesign is expected to be applied to
existing buildings and become a model for the construction of other
government buildings. | en_US |
