    Abstract
    This research is entitled The Influence of Parenting Content on the Instagram Account @parentalk.id on Fulfilling Parents’ Information Needs. The purpose of this research is to determine whether there is an influence of Instagram content on the fulfillment of information needs, particularly parenting content on the Instagram account @parentalk.id. This research is adopts the Uses and Gratification Theory, uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The research employed a sample determined using the Taro Yamane formula, resulting 100 respondents was selected through purposive sampling, that consisting of parents who follow the Instagram account @parentalk.id. Data were collected through both primary and secondary sources. The analysis involved descriptive statistics (univariate and cross-tabulation analysis) and inferential statistics using the Pearson product-moment correlation test. The hypothesis testing conducted using SPSS 30 software resulted t value of 9.640 > 1.984 and a correlation coefficient of 0.698. It can be concluded that social media content as variable X has a significant influence of 48.7% on information needs as variable Y while 51.3% is influenced by other factors that are not examined in this research.
