Evaluasi Pengelolaan Anggaran Terhadap Kinerja Bidang Administrasi Hukum Umum Kantor Wilayah Kementrian Hukum Sumatera Utara

Abstract

Budget management is an important aspect in government organizations, including in the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law of North Sumatra. This study evaluates budget management on the performance of the field of general legal administration. The results show that the budget allocation has been done well, with a total realization percentage of 78.15%. Although one General Legal Administration Service in the Region showed good realization (82.98%), there were other challenges in implementation, especially in Case Handling services that were not realized. And factors such as lack of coordination and planning issues affect performance. To improve performance, improvements are needed in coordination, improvement of planning, periodic monitoring and evaluation as well as optimization of budget use. The results of the interviews show obstacles in budget absorption, even though revisions and reallocation of funds have been carried out to meet the needs of community services.
