Analysis of Students' Trust Levels in SeaBank as an Alternative to Digital Banks: A Study Case of Student D3 Finance
Abstract
The rapid development of technology has encouraged the presence of digital banks
as a practical financial service solution. SeaBank, as one of the digital banks in
Indonesia, attracts the attention of young people, especially students. This study
aims to analyze the level of trust of D3 Finance students at the University of North
Sumatra towards SeaBank and identify the factors that affect it, namely competence,
integrity, consistency, and transparency. This study uses a quantitative method with
a total sample of 58 students obtained data collected using an online questionnaire.
The analysis was carried out through validity, reliability, multiple linear regression,
and cluster analysis (K-Means). The results showed that the four factors
simultaneously had a significant effect on the level of student trust in SeaBank
(significance value < 0.05). Most respondents were in clusters with a high level of
trust, influenced by the ease of application, information disclosure, and institutional
reputation. In conclusion, SeaBank has succeeded in building trust among D3
Finance students.
