Analisis Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Produksi Beras Dengan Menggunakan Analisis Regresi Linier Berganda Di Provinsi Sumatera Utara

Abstract

The majority of people in Indonesia, including those in North Sumatra Province, rely on rice, which is one of the most strategic commodities. However, the increase in rice production depends on various influencing factors. This study aims to analyze the influence of the number of laborers, land area, and the amount of paddy production on rice production in North Sumatra Province from 2016 to 2022, using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study showed that the regression coefficient for the number of laborers is 0.611, which means that every additional laborer increases rice production by 0.611 units. The regression coefficient for harvested land area is 2.400, meaning that every additional unit of land area increases rice production by 2.400 units. The regression coefficient for the amount of paddy production is 0.689, which indicates that every additional unit of paddy production increases rice production by 0.689 units. The conclusion from the regression analysis is that each independent variable has a significant effect on the amount of rice production.
