dc.description.abstract | The palm oil industry is a strategic sector in the Indonesian economy, with palm oil mills being a vital component in the production process. One of the main challenges in mill operations is the high level of machine downtime, particularly with the Mono Bunch Press machine, which functions to extract residual oil from empty fruit bunches (EFB). This research aims to implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) as a maintenance strategy to minimize downtime, improve efficiency, and extend the machine's lifespan. The methods used include Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and the calculation of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) as performance evaluation tools. The results of the analysis show that TPM implementation significantly reduces component failure rates, improves machine reliability, and increases OEE values. This study provides strategic recommendations for machine maintenance management to support the sustainability and productivity of the palm oil industry. | en_US |
