dc.description.abstractThis study aims to evaluate the performance of composites based on Engineered Cementitious Composites (ECC) combined with porous asphalt gravel and recycled materials such as crumb rubber and styrofoam, in terms of their fire resistance and impact durability. The ECC composite uses a mixture of fly ash and rice husk ash as alternative cementitious materials to partially replace conventional cement, thereby reducing carbon emissions and supporting the development of sustainable construction materials. Specimen variations include KA (pure asphalt gravel), KAS (asphalt gravel + styrofoam), and KAC (asphalt gravel + crumb rubber), each tested at 3 and 7 days of curing. The results indicate that the KAS7 variation (asphalt gravel + styrofoam at 7 days) exhibited the best performance in the fire resistance test, reaching a maximum temperature of 455.6 °C. Meanwhile, in the impact test, the KA7 variation (pure asphalt gravel) achieved the lowest damage depth of 2.8 mm after 10 blows, indicating superior mechanical resistance. The use of waste materials such as fly ash, rice husk ash, crumb rubber, and styrofoam in CR-ECC composites has been proven to contribute to the development of fire- and impact-resistant pavement materials that are also environmentally friendly.en_US
