Management of Incoming and Outgoing Letters at the Regional Public Company Market of Medan City
Abstract
This study aims to identify the system of incoming and outgoing mail management at the Regional Public Company (PUD) Pasar Kota Medan and to analyze the obstacles faced in its implementation. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the mail management system is still manual and not fully digitalized. Obstacles include limited digital infrastructure, absence of written SOP, and lack of staff training. Proposed solutions include
system digitalization, SOP development, human resource capacity building, and regular evaluations. This research is expected to contribute to the improvement of a more efficient and modern administrative system in local government institutions.
