The increasing demand for electrical energy requires innovations in the utilization of alternative energy sources. One solution that can be implemented is the use of mechanical energy from sports activities to be converted into electrical energy. This research aims to design and develop a Sports Power Plant (PLTO) using a stationary bicycle equipped with a heart rate monitoring system and electrical energy monitoring. This system works by converting the mechanical energy from the pedals of the stationary bicycle into electrical energy through a generator. The rotation speed of the generator or DC dynamo affects the electrical power produced. Optimally, in this study, around 2000 RPM will produce 5 - 6 Watts, which is then stored in batteries as a backup power source. Additionally, a heart rate monitoring system is used to measure the intensity of the user's workout, while the energy monitoring system functions to display the amount of energy generated. The test results show that this system can generate electricity effectively, as well as provide real-time information about the user's performance and the power produced. With this innovation, it is hoped that the community will be more motivated to exercise while contributing to the use of renewable energy.en_US
